Barry Rand is a professor of electrical and computer engineering and the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment and associate director for external partnerships at the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment. He is dedicated to the study of thin film materials to be implemented within the next generation of electronic and optoelectronic devices for computing, sensing, and energy applications, including materials to enable future solar cells and LEDs.
