Bio/Description
C. Jessica Metcalf is an associate professor of Ecology, Evolution and Public Affairs at Princeton University, jointly appointed between the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. She is a demographer whose research areas include evolutionary ecology and infectious disease dynamics, with a special focus on vaccine preventable infections. She is an associated faculty member at the High Meadows Environmental Institute (HMEI) and is affiliated both with HMEI’s Climate Change and Infectious Diseases Initiative and Grand Challenges Program. She is co-Director of Princeton’s Program in Global Health and Health Policy.
