Bio/Description

Christos Maravelias is the Anderson Family Professor in Energy and the Environment and professor of chemical and biological engineering. The goal of his research group is to develop methods for problems in the general area of process and energy systems engineering. Current projects include: process and energy systems operations, including supply chain optimization; and energy systems modeling, optimization and analysis, with special emphasis on biomass-to-fuels/chemicals and solar fuel and power technologies.
