Bio/Description

Jonathan Levine is professor of ecology and evolutionary biology at Princeton University. He has done extensive research in the areas of biodiversity and ecology, with a particular focus on plant migration and invasion, species coexistence and how plant communities respond to climate change. He holds the position of associated faculty at the High Meadows Environmental Institute and is a member of the leadership team for the Carbon Mitigation Initiative. He is the 2020 recipient of the Robert H. MacArthur Award from the Ecological Society of America.
